Talkline is committed to protecting the personal information of children who use our products or services. The child privacy protection statement (hereinafter referred to as "this statement") and the talkline privacy policy are intended to explain to guardians (hereinafter referred to as "you") and children how we collect, use, store and process children's personal information and how we provide access, correction, deletion and protection for you and children. Unless otherwise agreed, the terms and abbreviations used in this statement have the same meanings as those in the user agreement and talkline privacy policy.

We hope you can work with us to protect children's personal information, educate and guide children to enhance their awareness and ability of personal information protection, and guide, remind and require them not to provide any personal information to any network product and service provider without your consent.

1. What information we collect

1.1 during the use of products or services by children, we will collect relevant information. For details, please refer to the "what types of information we collect" section of talkline privacy policy to learn more about other children's personal information we collect.

1.2 if we need to collect personal information of you or your child beyond the above collection scope, we will inform you again and obtain your consent.

2. How we use this information

2.1 We strictly abide by the provisions of laws and regulations and the agreement with users, and use the information collected about you and your children for the following purposes:

1. Provide necessary products or services and specific functions of products or services;
2. For the purpose of optimizing products or services, safety assurance and service investigation.

2.2 If we need to use your personal information or your child's personal information beyond the above purposes, we will inform you again and obtain your consent.

3. Sharing, transferring and disclosing children's personal information

3.1 We strictly restrict the sharing, transfer and disclosure of children's personal information in accordance with laws and regulations.

3.2 Generally, we will not share children's personal information with third parties. We can only share the personal information of the child with a third party with the prior consent of the guardian.

3.3 For the purpose of external processing only, we may share children's personal information with third-party partners (third-party service providers, contractors, agents, application developers, etc., for example, service providers that provide us with authorized login) and let them process the above information for us in accordance with our instructions, privacy policies and relevant confidentiality and security policies.

3.4 If we entrust a third party to process children's personal information, we will conduct security assessment on the entrusted party and the entrusted behavior, sign the entrustment agreement, and require the entrusted party's processing behavior not to exceed the scope of our authorization. We entrust a third party to process children's personal information for the following purposes:

1. Provide our services to children;
2. Fulfill our obligations and exercise our rights in the talkline privacy policy and this statement;
3. Understand, maintain and improve our services.

3.5 If we share your and children's information with the above-mentioned third parties, we will conduct security assessment and use encryption, anonymization, de identification and other means to ensure the information security of you and children.

3.6 With the continuous development of our business, when the merger, acquisition, asset transfer and other transactions lead to the sharing of your and children's personal information to a third party, we will inform you of the relevant situation through push notice, announcement and other forms, and continue to protect or require new managers to continue to protect your and children's personal information in accordance with laws and regulations and standards not lower than those required in this statement.

Reasonable and necessary purposes for the implementation of relevant service agreements or this statement, the maintenance of social and public interests, and the protection of the personal and property safety or other legitimate rights and interests of our customers, US or our affiliates, other users or employees.

4. Store children's personal information

4.1 We will take encryption and other technical measures to store children's personal information to ensure information security. We will not store children's personal information beyond the period necessary to achieve its collection and use purposes. Please refer to the "how we store this information" and "how we protect this information" chapters of TalkLine privacy policy to learn more about how we store and protect children's personal information.  

4.2 When the operation of our products or services stops or the storage period of your and your children's personal information expires, we will notify you and your children in the form of push notice, announcement, etc., and delete or anonymously process your and your children's personal information within a reasonable period of time.

5. Manage children's personal information

During the use of TalkLine products or services by children users, in order to make it easier for you and children to access, correct and delete relevant personal information, we provide you with corresponding operation settings in the product design. You can also feedback and consult relevant information through the contact information provided by us. We will contact you in time after verifying your feedback. Please understand that during the verification process, we may need you to provide personal information such as children's account and contact information, so as to continue to respond to your needs after completing identity verification and problem verification.

5.1 Access to children's personal information

You and the children under your supervision can view the personal information provided or generated by children users in using our products or services, including but not limited to user name, password, avatar, nickname, mobile phone number, email content, etc.

5.2 Correction of children's personal information

When you and your children find that there are errors in the children's personal information we collect, use and process, you can contact us for correction. We will take timely measures to correct the problems after completing the authentication and verification.

5.3 Deleting children's personal information

If there are the following circumstances, you and your child can request us to delete the collected, used and processed child's personal information. We will take timely measures to delete it after completing the authentication and verification.

1. If we collect, store, use, transfer or disclose children's personal information in violation of laws, administrative regulations or the agreement of both parties;
2. If we collect, store, use, transfer and disclose children's personal information beyond the scope of purpose or necessary period;
3. You withdraw your consent;
4. You or the children under your supervision terminate the use of products or services by means of cancellation, etc.

However, please note that if you and the child under custody ask us to delete the personal information of a specific child, the child user may not be able to continue to use our products and services or some specific business functions in our products and services.

If you find that your child's personal information has been collected without your prior consent, please contact us in time and we will try to delete the relevant data as soon as possible.

5.4 When can children manage their own accounts

When a child under custody reaches the age of 14, he or she has the right to manage his or her account number by himself or herself.

6. Application of this declaration

6.1 This statement is only applicable to our products or services for children under the age of 14, products or services that cannot identify or do not actively identify the user's age, and only applicable to the TalkLine privacy policy.

6.2 Please understand that if there are no provisions in this statement, please refer to the applicable TalkLine privacy policy.

6.3 In the case of application of this statement, in case of any inconsistency between this statement and the provisions of TalkLine privacy policy, this statement shall prevail.
